6th Cebu Steemians Basketball Meetup | We Are Soon To Conduct Our First Basketball League

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday we conducted our 6th Cebu Steemians Basketball League and it has become our habit. Also I may call it as a Sunday tradition to play basketball which is physically benificial not just on me but to my fellow Steemians primarily because we got a chance to release some sweats and help our bodies to be physically healthy after almost a week of mostly sitting (in work and in house) and sleeping.

This time around I was able to arrived early compared to the previous 5 basketball meetups. I was able to watch the first game (though I forgot to take some random plays of that first ball game since I was busy talking with @robin-ho about the stuffs regarding the latest progress on Steemit and cryptocurrencies in general while we are sitting in the corner). And luckily I was able to took a photo of a random play in the second ball game (see below). Many Cebu Steemians and those who wanted to create an account in Steemit gathered in the venue @jassennessaj had selected which is the basketball court in Villas Magallanes Subdivision in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City. Most of those basketball enthusiasts who always came to the ball games are currently waiting for their application for a Steemit accounts to be approved.

In the previous basketball meetups we had conducted, the number of ball games being played are increasing. As far as i can remember the first meetup had around 5 or 6 ball games. This time around i guess we had more than 10 games. Cebuano Steemians are very talented, athletic and aggressive that’s why ball games are being concluded in less time compared to the previous ball games of the 1st meetup up to 4th basketball meetups.

As for me, I was able to play 2 ball games and luckily I was able to knock down a shot from beyond the arc. Well below are the pictures my cousin @froeilanddave had taken in some of the basketball games played last night.

And lastly, we ended our basketball games at around 9:30 in the evening and took a photo together as one at the center court.
