Steemit is a blockchain network which rewards people for their content. Steemit plays a bigger role in various places of the world and enables people to have some minimum rewards for their contents. This has been an opportunity for a number of people as a number of people are all excited to join this platform.

The major aim is to provide a basic income for the community. In other words, people have been struggling with a number of issues regarding their personal finance. Some have been part of real financial black out and finding steemit was like falling on a hidden gold. This implies that issues like poverty, unemployment and overwork can be solved using the steemit network.

However, if a person can spend some time on steemit, eventually he will have some rewards at the end of the day. This has been my experience too. I could spend some time commenting and writing good content, this worked and made me have some rewards. This pushed me in bringing other people on steemit since i have found a way of solving some community problems using the steemit blackchain.

In Uganda, there are thousands reasons to blame the government. Some even go to the state house bringing on all their problems to the President. Well, i don't have a problem with that but that makes me think of making some opportunities for the poor and desperate communities. Then only gift i can give is to sign them on steemit so as to have a minimum level of income. This will have a huge impact on empowering the community and preparing the future generation.

When one person starve, the whole community starves too. Meaning, a continuous growth of a single individual should always lead to an improvement of an other. I cherish the idea of living in a community just because its serves as an engine for growth. Its an indicator for success or failure. A poor community is always known and its own change or improvement always flowers the great work of the people to reach to that particular level.

Thus, As a member of steemit Uganda team, its may not give sense if only few people reach success and few others don't. The only way to do is by sharing our stories, experiences and ambitions to bring thousands people on board and performing a sustainable growth a the rest of the community. We believe in the UBUNTU Principle which is ''a quality that includes the essential human virtues; compassion and humanity.''

Bishop Desmond TUTU once said:

A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.”

so, let's make a step and make a way for the future generation.
