ABUJA STEEM MEETUP

Every meet up is an opportunity to socialize with other members of the steemit community and learn from their vast knowledge and experience, this one was not different.

The venue was IbI center, Discovery Mall, Abuja on Saturday, 17th Feb 2018. It was organised by @xpency together with @chiama, @anjiba and @jacobite. I was invited by a young steemian who is focused and dedicated to promoting positive content on the steem platform in person of @lordjames. The meetup was worth it as the expereince worth more than money. The organizers were excellent as the venue was great with air conditioning and snacks to fill our stomachs while we gained from the teachers

@ehiboss ran through the introduction and told us about steemit and blockchain and the potential benefits.

The blockchain entertainer and ambassador @michaelcj made sure he kept the place lively with his "gingering". He also talked on SMTs and Appics, and how it will help shape the future. He mentioned an upcoming football competition and a beauty peagent and the great prices in them

@destinysaid encouraged us to find what we know how to do best and focus on it and do our best, that it will finally pay off

@nairadaddy talked about @air-clinic and gave his words of advice to the newbies to not give up as in the beginning it is always hard but the effort will pay off later

All together it was a wonderful experience and i will like to do it again and again. At the end it ended in joy and happiness. Thank you to the organizers, you guys did a wonderful job and made sacrifices to make this meetup a success
