Promo-Uganda:My Muscles Are Still Aching After The Tennis Steemit Event at Uganda Christian University......What An Awesome Day It Was
I always thought Tennis was an easy game until i tried it put yesterday before our Steemit Event!
I know salute the legends of the game Lleyton Hewitt, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic Rafael Nadal and the rest, its really an interesting Sport.
My whole waist muscles are still aching up to now..!!! Anyway i will be fine.
I thank our own Steemian Tennis coach @yohan2on for the opportunity for me to try out Tennis for the first time!
I used to just see Tennis balls and rackets as decorations at our home hahahaha!
We had this tennis training at Uganda Christian University
Yesterday Sunday 2/18/2018 was a great day for me as i killed two birds with one stone
Learned Tennis basics and exercised
Signed Up new People on Steemit
As you might be knowing by now,we had a Tennis Steemit event organised by @yohan20n with the help of Team Uganda. We had slated for the event to start at 3:00pm Ugandan Time.
It is so unfortunate here in Uganda that when you tell guys of an event to start at 3pm,they turn up at 5pm! So annoying...we now used to this folks though.
Competition Among Steemians
We the leaders of the event(@yohan2on ,@battebilly and @jaraumoses ,@jona12 ,@sembozezade) reported eariler and waited til 4pm....and the attendance was still low.
At around 4pm,we the Steemit guys learned a few basics from our coach @yohan20n and decided to try out the new basics as we waited for the other members we had invited to come.
We had rackets and balls ready.
We formed ourselves into teams(@jaraumoses with @manchochris) ( battebilly with @sembozezade) and (@jona2 with @jordanlove).
I have some good news and some bad news, the good news our team (@jaraumoses and @manchochris) beat all this other guys in almost all sets. They might argue when they read this post, but they know the truth hahahaha.
That was me @manchochris celebrating!
Tennis Training by @yohan2on
We really had fun before the number began increasing and that's when @yohan2on the coach began training for the new guys.
We were showed how to stand(yes you have to stand firmly!),how to hold the rackets etc.
At this time the excitement was escalating as you see me behind near the poster learning the basics and also @battebilly in shorts!
We also learned the forehand and backhand moves and a few rules of the game.I heard @yohan2on saying something like 15 love when a point was made....will ask him more about the terminologies used.It was generally a great day as many people learned the game.

That is our own @sembozezade trying out either the backhand or forehand move....!!
This forehand and backhand training is what stretched me the most as the coach said we need to stretch our waists!
Steemit Presentation
After the training session, the host @yohan2on told the attendees that we also have somthing exciting.
This is when he introduced Steemit as seen below
Almost every Steemian present said something @battebilly ,@sembozezade @jaraumoses and others. You can check out their posts for more on this awesome event.
We also bought some drinks by the way and this even excited the attendees the more hehehe.
We gave out flyers as you can see me doing it below.
We helped guys sign up by even creating a WiFi hotpot and answered all their questions.
