Promo Steemit Uganda at Makerere University Day 3,Many questions asked!!!!!
Do not ask what the people or the government can do for you,but ask what you can do for the people or government- John F.Kennedy
I guess you must have read those famous words somewhere! I see a lot of folks complain of what the people or governments have not done for them.It is fascinating to note that the complainers are the biggest number of people in the world! I ask you not to be among that majority.
In this last weeks and days of us promoting Steemit to universities, one interesting question has kept popping up
How do you guys benefit, you must be paid to be doing this work!
This question of how we benefit has kept coming up and i always answer them that i will make a post about me talking to them.....and they still donot agree, hinting that we are paid a salary to do this promotional work!
Its fascinating to note that people have lost hope in humanity that they believe no one can give another an opportunity to make money!
These folks cannot believe that we do this out of love and they insist that we must be paid for every new person who signs up.They think Steemit is Network marketing !It is at this point that i tell them that i donot benefit directly by them joining(we are just spreading an opportunity that has helped us to our fellow country people.
I personally told them,we promote Steemit so that our community increases and we can upvote ourselves!(this was easily understood by many and they liked the idea....some even said i like their posts when they join!)
We had another colourful fun day at Makerere university once again today.
We decided to visit the college of Design Art and Technology
We were armed with more flyers to give out here. These were flyers were printed out today.
In my promotional activities so far, this has been the best place as people had laptops and could easily access the internet and we had to demonstrate everything with the use of the internet. We had many folks signing up and we had ease explaining Steemit.
As you can see below @battebilly explaining to some students who were inquisitive.
Also below is @yohan2on doing his thing
You can also see here below @tesaganewton explaining and answering questions .
Some of the questions asked and answered
- how to earn?
- how do you withdraw?
- how do you benefit?
- how do I join?
- what is the source of steemit money that it rewards people.
- Is Steemit Ugandan
- Does Steemit have an app
- I want a t.shirt!
- How do i join your marketing team.
We literally had fun and some guys even took my tel contact hoping to get in touch soon.We met many guys who know crypto making our work easy.
A big thank you to all the guys who made it to Makerere today @battebilly @yohan2on @musamalijames @tesaganewton.
Let us keep promoting Steemit especially in third world countries.Another reason for promoting Steemit to me is i am building a legacy! I have always wanted to leave a name behind and thanks to Steemit i am starting to change a few lives slowly by my promo activities.
Let us keep promoting Steemit as it will also increase the price of Steem, hence a win-win for all.
If you liked this post and our promotional activities, upvote and resteem.
Love
Jarau Moses
