Wow Team Uganda meeting scheduled on 7th July -Read this post to find out what will be discussed in this meet -up and how it will add value to the steemit platform.

Team Uganda is a group of steemians in Uganda that are working hard to promote steemit to every Ugandan and our main goal is to bring as many people as we can and also help them through their steemit journey.

Am glad to mention that the previous meet -up that we had on 2nd June was a success and everyone learned something literally there was a change in the way everyone thought about steemit, All the people that had attended the meeting and were at the edge of giving up really gave testimonies of how the meeting energised them to work hard because they are really on the right track. This has given the team morale to schedule meetings often so we can motivate each other, relate more as a team, build trust as a team and also develop the community in a short while.

As an MC for the meeting that will be held on 7th July am glad to announce it early enough than usual because I really want everyone to prepare in time since they are a change of rules on how we are going to be operating this time. Am In this meet -up it is a must for everyone attending to come along with a friend whose green about steemit and no excuses.

What will be discussed in the meeting?

• Motivation to continue blogging despite the current steem prices.
  Currently, steemit looks like a ghost town, there is less activity and really most of us feel like it is not right time to pour out our energies since the rewards are so cartoon but I personally think this is the right time to blog since the chances of being discovered by the influencers are really high plainly they have very little choices . So in the meeting, we shall be encouraging everyone that has given up to start from where they stopped from honestly it is a good time to earn more steem power than usual.

• strategies on how to increase the number of steemians in Uganda
  Currently, we are all working on the same goal as we all want the price of steem to move up but the only way we are going to do that is by introducing as many real accounts on the platform. This will be achieved by promoting steemit as we can. Of recent, we had given a break to promote as a group but we are going to resume, In this meeting, we are going to discuss various ways of how we are going to make the promos very effective and rewarding to everyone. Let me take this opportunity to thank @steem-ambassador for approving @yohan2on steem - ambassador application and this has given us more energy to promote since we do have a Ugandan representative on the steem -ambassador team. By the way congratulations @yohan2on

• How we are going to keep more engaging Ugandan steemians on the platform.
  Currently, so many people are joining this boardless world but it is hard to survive alone, however many people come in with a mindset of getting rich quickly but that is not it, So we want to discuss in the meeting on how we are going to keep more engaging users from our country, like find out how much support is needed and how best we can support the newbies more. Currently, we are over 90 steemians from Uganda (statistics from our Whatsapp group) but the active ones are about 30 that is if they consider an active steemian to be posting 3 posts a week.

• How we can use the Dapps to increase influence on the platform
  Of late when you check the #uganda tag most people are doing Dlive videos and really reaping big than when they write a normal post. So in the meeting, we shall have to encourage every single person to go out there and do a dlive video honestly We all have hidden talents so steemit is giving us a chance to explore who truly we are and what we can do best.

Where is the meeting going to be held?
The meeting is going to be in Kampala at the centenary park ( currently this place has not been confirmed yet but since the venue has been changed I will let you know)
