The Ugandan community is one of the fastest steemit growing community where every day we have new members coming to the community so we as a group we realized that the best way to help the newbies grow on this platform is to always have meetups where we encourage and motivate the new people with testimonies of how steemit has improved our lives in different ways .

Uganda steemit community meet up that happened last week on Saturday
we all have questions about steemit and in most cases, we are not sure on who we should open up too, but with meet-ups in our communities, we are able to answer almost everyone's question which brings satisfaction to everyone at the end of the day. Today I really want to share with you on why it is important for every steemian to attend the meet-ups that are organized by the steemit community

it’s one of the most valuable in terms of bringing people together in the real world around a common theme or interest and here are the reasons for attending always.

• There is an opportunity to learn new tips meet-ups are new ways of learning from others there is saying that goes two heads are better than one. meaning two people working together have a better chance of solving a problem than one person working alone.
  Everyone has questions about steemit no one knows it all so meeting up with fellow steemians will help get your questions answered because steemit has all kinds of people and everyone has a topic they understand so well, forexample, before I attended the meet up that happened yesterday , I literally didnot know the use of using Dapps and how they can increase your visibility on this platform plus I had no idea that when you curate dlive videos you are rewarded with steem not steem power but from the meeting @yohan2on rose that concept and he explained how he is reaping big from it . This opened my eyes and am glad I attended one so every time you attend the meeting you come back with a lot of information

• There is an opportunity to network with other people.

networking basically refers to interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts.

our success is based on other people and the more you associate with influential people the more your chances of being great. we as a Ugandan team we have people that earn a lot compared to others and with meeting up with them you get a chance to know what their secret is. very one has different plans for steemit where most of the people are working hard to invest in steem power so the more you meet up the higher the chances of getting upvotes from these people (am just thinking outside the box) because they trust that you can also be part of the steemit success.

• It is always fun to meet up with people that you share the same interest.
  If you ask me a question about my best day last week I can honestly say Saturday was a good day,.The steemit community became my 2nd family and the people I look up at. After the meet up we went to one of Uganda's hang out place and had more fun.

conclusion

Success on Steemit isn't all about just blogging or interacting within the margin of your blog, upvoting and commenting on other posts. This alone is as important as they are to your success. You need live networking; you need to build relationships outside internet. People tend to be more serious with business relationships offline. Live events provide that important convergence for learning, making deals, and building social bridges between multiple groups of people.
