Steem Blockchain : Introduction and Workshop in Bangalore India
We are organizing a Steem introduction session and development workshop on this Friday, April 14, 2018.
The meetup will be boradly split into two parts. The first will be an introduction and discussion about Steem blockchain. Second part will be a workshop where we will be building our first Steem blockchain app. (More of a hello world program :P) .

Requirements
- A basic idea of blockchains.
- Programming skills.
- NodeJS experience is preferred, though Javascript knowledge should be sufficient.
- Please get your laptops as this will be a worksop.

We only have 10 slots due to space constraints. We already have 8 RSVPs. If you know anybody who would be interested please spread the word. If we get more than 10 RSVPs we will filter them based on their programming skills. We are planning a couple more meetups over the next few months. We are also scouting for locations that can accommodate 30+ people. We will generally have our sessions on weekdays. So if you know any good locations in Bangalore near HSR layout do let us know.

Recently I was reading about #promo-steem and was surprised to see that there is no #promo-india that is being used for #promo-steem activities. So I am creating it with this post and let us hope that it will gather more steem as we go along.
