Hello guys its @ewuoso here again. I guess y'all already know that I am a Steemit evangelist and it might not be a new thing when you read my blog and you find out that i travelled all in the name of Steemit.

The Journey

I found about about Steemit meet-up Enugu from a post by @theheralds and immediately I decided that I must go. I have been hearing about the growth taking place in Enugu among steemians an I decided that I must be there and take a look for myself and then meet new people.

I had to go by air because of the insecurity in my country. There were a lot of killings on the road and I was not ready to loose my life even though I had financial issues.

I booked my flight 2 hours before the flight and I decided to chill at a bar before the check in time.

I had a bottle of Heineken at a price that I will have gotten five different bottles. But for the fact that it was an airport the price was so expensive

The flight was a smooth one and we landed like one hour after the journey.

I haven't gone to Enugu before and I called @gee1 and tojukaka who were there b4 me to direct me to where I could stay for the meet up that was suppose to take place the next day.

I had to take a cab after @tojukaka sent me the address to the hotel he lodged.

To cut the long story short, I got to the hotel and in the evening decided to meet with other steemians that were around.

I met with @ogochukwu for the first and @drigweeu for the first time too.

Met other people like @ejemai, @tojukaka @gee1 @bob-elr and the beautiful @xpressng etc.

We had a talk over plates of food snacks and drinks and we enlightened ourselves more that evening.

The next morning was the event.

The Event

We got to the event early and at that time twas the opening pray that was going on.

@theheralds was there to anchor the programme.

A lot of speakers were present.

@ejemai as usual was a speaker

@samstickkz was also present and he spoke in blocktivity

@gee1 also spoke about the dos and donts on Steemit.

@tojukaka and @eurogee were also speakers that day.

The programme was smooth and it was like a lecture class where all the students were depending on that particular lecture to pass their exams.

I met a lot of people there, most of which already knew me due to my popularity. It was awesome though.

I was able to discuss one or two things with some people there. A lot of which were asking for advice on how to thread on their Steemit journey. I gave them appropriate answers and told them most especially that the most important key was patience.

Other activities were people getting to know each other.

Who Else Knows Steen Is Intoxicating

Sometimes I wonder who in his right sense will wake up in the morning and decided that he wants travel far and meet new people all in the name of a social media. I always ask myself the question why but later I discovered that I have do drink Steem.

It was then that I discovered that Steen was intoxicating. I want to drink more

Steemit has been a life saver. It has made us see the world as a good place that it is even though it is filled with evil. There are some good people around.

Will like to appreciate those that have been supportive. All these journeys of mine would have not been possible without them
