Steemit beyond writing

Today I would like to talk on a very controversial issues which affects a lot of minnows on steemit and this issue has proven to be am impediment on the growth of a lot of minnows. This is none other than the subject "writing".
As you may have noticed, most people join steemit and most don't because they believe that the only way to become a success on steemit is by writing. And this flawed thinking has kept a lot of talents unnoticed and has doomed a lot of talented people to the category of that word "minnow" by making them so focused on writing contents that they forget their main talent.
Imagine for example a singer trying to express his or her voice by writing or an actor trying to put down his fineness in words not to mention an artist trying to write down his paintings. At this point you must be thinking of the absurdity in that; and please don't get me wrong, Writing is great but is simply not adequate in expressing every talent.
And I believe you must agree with me at this point that when writing cannot totally capture the uniqueness of a talent it becomes under-valued, under-appreciated and ultimately misunderstood.
So today I am making this post to disabuse the minds of minnows and intending Steem bloggers alike that writing is not the only way to showcase your talents on steemit. The platform provides you with other avenues to showcase your talents; like for example... Making a video of you doing what you do best and uploading it using the dtube and dmania tag. I assure you that you would eventually still get the appreciation and relevance you deserve from the community.
