Steemit Awareness Oficially Created In Ado Ekiti: Find Below, How The First Steemit Workshop Went In Ado-Ekiti.
I feel so happy that the seed of Steemit has finally been dropped into the soil of Ado-Ekiti for growth. This Steemit seed planting was officially done last weekend (3rd march, 2018). At the end of the 2 hours rigorous/completely practical workshop, we were left with just a word for the participants/new steemians GO TELL OTHERS WHAT GOOD STEEMIT IS, and sincerely after the steemit workshop which we titled: STEEMIT BREAKTHROUGH WORKSHOP, I personally started receiving calls and chats on whatsapp from people who heard the good news from the attendees.
I might not have the required (58) reputation score, but I sure have ideas that when executed, can help promote steemit in my community
My joy knew no bound as I recalled how nervous I was about the success of the workshop in the spate of zero external support. I finally with the help of @bania and @elixbaba , organized the first Steemit workshop in Ado-Ekiti.
Aside the above, I was also overjoyed because south western Nigeria will begin to benefit from all that steemit has got to offer. Before now, I have always felt some pains knowing that my part of Nigeria seem sidelined or uninformed about a big and profitable social platform as steemit.
The publicity for the workshop was massive, but the turnout was small. We were at the least deterred or bothered by the small turnout, because we have always known that any great beginning begins first with discouragements.
See examples:
@tojukaka organized his first meetup several months ago, and only four (4) persons were in attendance. Recently he organized another steemit meetup in Ibadan which recorded over 100 attendees.
@bania organized a similar workshop in Kabba some months ago, made handbills and publicized. Alas! only six (6) persons graced the workshop (His dad, Mum two siblings and two other friends).
Even though we lacked some of the necessary materials needed to make the workshop grand, we still stubbornly made it happen with the little materials we had at our disposal.
We have finally flagged off Steemit at Ado-Ekiti. We hope to continue the propagation of steemit gospel in this land with your support. As part of our interest to build on the good work we have started, we have decided to accomplish the projects listed below in order to further consolidate this first steemit breakthrough workshop:
Buying this advertisement space for three months (For a start) to further continue the propagation of steemit gospel in Ado-Ekiti, we will need 120,000 (330 USD)
We see you trying to Help us further make this laudable dreams come through...
...FOR THAT
Many Thanks,
@dintellectual
