Hello everyone!

This is an update on the movement that will from hence forth be known as STEEMUP NG. Working with various organizations, entities and people has really helped in these past few weeks.

It is my pleasure to broadcast the first in what is hopefully a yearly tradition in Nigeria from now on STEEMUP DELTA 2017.

I @destinysaid, along with @tojukaka have finalized plans and cant wait to bring steemit to the populace of the great state. In times past, different initiatives have brought the steemit gospel to different locations around nigeria, I personally have been following up with those that I see where struggling with the system.

The event slated to occur next week on the 20th of December 2017, is going to be the biggest crypto related Christmas event in Nigeria.

As can be seen from the poster designs above, a lot of people have been talking about it, both online and offline. It has also been shared on various social medias such as Facebook and twitter. Different concept arts have been created for it.

It isnt just a meetup per say, for this, we decided to take it upon ourselves to show what steemit is capable of doing in the lives of individuals. An extra positive news is that the price of SBD soared over the last few days, meaning we are able to cash out more money for the event. This, we hope to use and help people beyond what we planned.

**we want to show different individuals that steemit CAN and IS CAPABLE of taking care of your dreams. That steemit is capable of transforming your lives.

We are saying : ''HEY, HELLO! WE ARE EVIDENCE OF THE STEEM, WE ARE PROOF THAT THIS IS A NEW ERA OF LIVING, WE ARE EVIDENCE THAT STEEMIT IS CHANGING LIVES''.

We want a situation where the business man selling furniture, is able to get a customer through steemit. He is able to create a chair that has an LED to display crypto prices in one click. Is able to use SMTs and crypto tech to progress from a simply chair maker, to a comfort supplier of crypto embedded chairs built of nano tech and that conforms to users body shape.

The future is limitless, ideas are limitless, only fear, uncertainty and doubt(FUD) stops us from achieving our aims.

Delta state, Nigeria

Delta state nigeria, a hope to some of the most diverse ethnic region in the country. I grew up here and it is such a big opportunity to be bringing steemit to this place via a meetup. It is an oil producing state, and we all know what happens in the regions where oil is bae. A lot of commercial activites take place here, this, is to our advantage as a lot of people willing to grow their businesses can be attracted to the steem blockchain and use it to grow.

From malls, to cinemas, to stadiums, to anything a modern state can have. It has one of the highest GDP and IGR in the country, and is quite stable in terms of security.

The location for the meetup will be in warri, shoprite shop 28 at around 12-5pm, holding 2 sessions;

A good thing about using shoprite mall is that a lot of people visit the malls, and as Christmas gets closer, more and more people come hoping to get an item before the stores get to crowded on Christmas eve.
Using this opportunity, we going to be distributing flyers, talking to people, having a blast and just generally spreading steemit love to everyone.

Yes, you heard that right, of all the sub-communities in nigeria currently, I have pulled strings to get as much of them here as possible.
This, I believe is a wonderful initiative because it shows that unity is at the center of our mission. Unlike the situation in several over social media outlets, I have been pleased with the type of individuals who join steemit and remain on steemit from nigeria.

The intellectuals, the future senators, politicians, the future business men and millionaires.

It is said that a person that would be great in the future, has a step by step plan and doesn't ever miss technological advantages.

Steemit offers a place where riffraffs are unable to cope, and where those willing to push themselves, willing to progress are raised in high accords.
