Hi steemit community!!!

This is a report of the first Abuja-steem workshop held at Wuse II FCT Abuja, IBI Centre Discovery Mall, 17th day of February 2018, time 10:00 am. Which begins with a opening prayer.

The MC of the day who happens to be no other than @mediahousent

He started by welcoming everyone present and ask but a few people on how they get to know about the event, then he introduced and welcome the big fishes in the house.

Introduction to steemit

Steemit.com is a back earn site in which anybody with a unique talent is welcome. For you to be a successful steemian you need to know your needs and what you are bringing into steemit community.

• what assets are you bringing in? You need to understand your talent.
• what are your interest?
• what do you have to offer?
• who are you? Should be the first question.
  There is need to identify our unique talent and capabilities because steemit only rewards based on what we offer and put in. So don't expect something when you have nothing to offer. Thanks boss @ehiboss

Content creation

Content is the number one thing in steemit for you to be successful and is the basic of it all.

Take note

• your content should be valuable to the reader, not wasting their time reading.

Also relationship can be built by reading other people's content (blog) and drop a comment, but it takes time to build a relationship not immediately is gradual. Thanks to @fisteganos for the wonderful talk.

Steem project

steem project involves you getting better with yourself, is a platform for collaboration though not for everybody. It may not work for you until you are ready for it to work for you. Is not just all about writing you want to do.

The Question is:

• what are you suppose to be doing on steemit?
• who are you?
• what is your role, specialization in steemit?

Steemit is a freedom economy which enables you to create something, is value for value and it's far beyond writing you need to apply yourself with passion.

• Steemit is an amazing place. Putting your blood into it is not your physical blood but applying yourself in the platform.
• steemit is a fantasy, if you don't dream it you will not make it and you have to believe it's reality. Thanks @ejemai.
