What Happened The Steem Meet-up in Kampala

This steem meet-up in Kampala on Saturday will be note down by all steemians in Uganda as the event that changed the way Ugandans understand steemit.

I remember all the events in the Meet-up as if it's happening now. I believe the meet-ups and the trainings are not only for newbies they also help by restoring motivation to all steemians.

Even through I was the chief organizer of the event, I learnt more from the meet-up than the people I invited to the event.

@jaraumoses being the first steemian in Uganda was the best person to explain to the congregation what steem is?, what steemit is? Where and when did steemit begin? What is the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies? Etc.

Then @ireneblessing came in and explained one can grow very first on steemit? and how one can balance work business and steemit?

@johan12 explained how steemit helped him raise tuition and how managed to do steemit with university books. To encourage students who are doing steemit while school.

@easydimes from the audience explained how steemit can help in his are her cv. @musemeza explained why couldn't move for five hour from mbarara to Kampala for a steemit Meet-up.

I announced the weekly trainings that will start on Saturday 1st/09/2018.

The meet-up was very interactive as people ask questions to the presents. We answered all the quetion and hope to answer more in the weekly trainings.
