THE MINNOW SCHOOL | The world will only reward you for what they think you are worth

Good evening guys, this is @bait002 the founder of the offline minnow school where minnows are mentored and groomed. today I will be discussing something that I consider to be an eye-opener.
In a highly competitive world, where there are 10,000 other guys who do just exactly what you do, there is need to constantly improve your skill set and update the quality of your value in the face of this world.
Distinguish yourself
You may do the same as the rest. Feature in the mission of ten thousand other persons but a good quality and clear vision could take you anywhere from there.
mission could be general and similar, but vision is rare and peculiar.
Mission is what needs to be done, while vision is how you based on your personal assessment, judgment and experience choose to solve it. Some folks refer to vision as where you see yourself in the future. Vision might not necessarily be a future implication. We must understand that vision is immediate because, that is what keeps in the right course of action. You cannot distinguish yourself without a clear vision. Why would anyone abandon the other ten thousand guys just to get to you? That’s because something separates you from the ten thousand other guys. The world is filled with normal people pursuing normal things. You have to separate yourself to an extent where the value of what people get from you will be worth the stress they went through just to reach you.

Success or value
Value is what makes success. My mentor once told me not to seek to be successful but instead, I should seek to be a person of value. Most of us just want to succeed. Then in our rush we forget that;
success is only an implication of something else.
Success is defined as the completion of task based on the description of the one who gave it. In the context of success, a task of role is always involved. And when a task exists there’s always a demand on you for something valuable in order to fuel that endeavour. In order to successfully carry out a task, you have to have the basic requirement that that task demands. To succeed on steemit for example, you have to have some valuable stream of information that you intend to constantly communicate with a group of people who appreciate such works. This obviously, demands that you polish your communication skill through writing quality contents that would contain such information. It’s tough to admit but very easy to find articles with promising titles that captures a reader’s mind and one getting to the last word on that article, you find out that much hasn’t been said already. You have to add value by developing the level of writing skill that will make the dissemination of information possible at any capacity on this platform.
As you seek to be a person of value, know what’s expected of you
Once you have decided the nature of information you would like to have on your blog then, you have to carefully inquire to know the requirements of the mission you have decided to embark on. How do you improve your writing skill to better you steemit blog?
• Read works done by other people here on steemit, especially those who happen to be in same line of discussion.
• Get a role model here on steemit, someone who does what you intend to do; someone who has achieved what you hope to achieve and learn from them.
• Understand your limit and if you can’t then don’t. The good news is that the chances of doing more are always greeter than the chances of doing nothing.
I will talk more about these in my next post. I will be elaborate more on the points given above. My aim and the objective of everyone at the offline minnow school is to do one thing; improve minnows participation and reduce the number of dead accounts. We see that as possible and feasible. Find a niche here, define some goals and add value to guarantee you success in that endeavour. Make it a point to keep adding value and to become more and more valuable. The implication goes way more than having a successful blog on steemit, it would translate into overall success in life. The bottom line is this; whatever value (knowledge, experience, skill an so on) you add to yourself for the sake of your steemit blog, can be taken anywhere in the actual world.
