STEEMUP OGUN STATE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS | thanks to all the supporters
One of the beautiful things I've been privileged to enjoy on steemit is the ability to work hand in hand with people who you never knew before, in a completely friendly environment. I had that thrill once again today.
Few days before the end of this year I announced the closure of THE OFFLINE MINNOW SCHOOL 🏫 for the year 2017, and since then I've been promoting steemit getting more people to be a part of the minnow schools classes come 2018. I left my campus for home on the 24th of December and surprisingly, when I got here (my home town), I was shocked to see how few the population that knows about steemit, steem and what I been recently into. One of then was @kesolink a selfless steemian who put his all into the program, just to see it become a success. I was also privileged to work with @ewuoso who was linked to me through the help of my mentor (he believes that's a big word) @ejami. @princeemmanuel was also on attendance. We had support from @ejemai. He sent us some money to make the meet-up a success. Also we had the help of steemians from every level and locations.
KICKOFF
We started about exactly 3:00pm, although we initially scheduled for 2pm, but the delay was due to technical issues. We had over 18 slides to present to an audience of over 3 dozens-who were eagerly expecting the steemit gospel and each one of the steemians who attended contributed greatly in explaining what steemit is and the future of steemit. We also stressed on the need to invest in steem and how secure it could be due to its mining process. In my opinion,
"steemians mine through writing"
