STEEMUP OWERRI MEGA MEETUP/SEMINAR, TODAY'S UPDATE #1 ~ SHARING AWARENESS FLIERS ROUND OWERRI CITY

Promoting Steemit offline is not really as easy as it looks, truly it takes passion and drive to do it. Especially, here in Owerri were Steemit is still not well known. Finally i got to meet these wonderful Steemians for the first time.

We assembled at the Imo Transport Company (ITC) park in Owerri at about 10:00 am from then we moved out to distribute and share fliers round Owerri city in group. That's the great boss @eurogee seating in front, putting on a white Steemit crested shirt and red face cap. He's indeed handsome in his yellow skinned colour, lol!

Our first point of visit was the National Youth Service Secretariat where we spoke to Corpers about the Steemup Owerri Mega Meetup holding at De Simeon Fast food hall Owerri, on Saturday 17th March 2018. We shared the meetup invitation fliers, after which, we took another beautiful roadside photo. As you can see the walls are painted with the Nigeria flag colours (green white green)

Imo State University, Owerri, was our second point of visit. Here we met with students of the University and enlightened them on what steemit is all about, explaining why they shouldn't miss out in the Owerri Mega Meetup/Seminar, come this Saturday

We took off again and headed straight to Alvan Ikokwu federal college of education where we met with a lot of students. This time, the task became too difficult because the school is very large and needed more hands to cover. We did our best, we shared as much awareness fliers as possible and took a group shot.

Finally, we became stressed up, hungry, exhausted and needed to rest.
As you can see, the photos are crystal clear cos they were shot with @eurogee's good Android smartphone camera.
I will be uploading more info updates later cos i need to eat and have a little rest now.

It was quite stressful and uneasy but its worth the love we have to promote our dear Steemit Community.
