Introducing Steemit to Rural Communities and Following with Shared Dining at Mission #Promo-Steem

On the week of April 15, I joined Aceh-Indonesia's community of #promo-steemrural councils to organize a meal together with the rural community around my residence. This joint meal is my #promo-steem mission to introduce steemit to rural communities. There are still many rural people who still do not know what is steemit?

Pada hari minggu tanggal 15 April saya bersama komunitas #promo-steemrural Aceh-Indonesia mengadakan acara makan bersama dengan masyarakat pedesaan yang ada di sekitar tempat tinggal saya. Acara makan bersama ini adalah misi#promo-steem saya untuk memperkenalkan steemit kepada masyarakat pedesaan. Masih banyak masyarakat pedesaan yang masih belum tahu apa itu steemit?

While eating, I and my friends community of #promo-steemrural explained about the steemit platform to the rural community. They are very enthusiastic to hear the explanation from our community #promo-steemrural about this steemit. One of the people named ramuli asked how to get on the steemit platform, how to do steemit activities and what are the benefits?

Sambil makan, saya bersama teman-teman komunitas #promo-steemrural menjelaskan tentang platform steemit kepada masyarakat pedesaan. Mereka sangat antusias sekali mendengar penjelasan dari kami komunitas #promo-steemrural tentang steemit ini. Salah seorang masyarakat yang bernama ramuli bertanya bagaimana caranya untuk berada di platform steemit, bagaimana melakukan aktivitas di steemit serta apa keuntungan yang didapat?

Hearing such questions, I and my friends community #promo-steemrural explained that Steemit is a decentralized social media platform meaning we are placed as the owner of our account which includes private key, post key, reward key, and owner key. Steemit rewards users for voting through content we post. With Steemit we can interact through text, image and video content. In the Steemit platform our content is rewarded in the form of monetary reward / money known as STEEM (cryptocurrency).

Mendengar pertanyaan seperti itu kemudian saya bersama teman-teman komunitas #promo-steemrural menerangkan bahwa Steemit adalah sebuah platform media sosial yang terdesentralisasi artinya kita ditempatkan sebagai pemilik atas akun kita yang mencakup private key, posting key, reward key, dan owner key. Steemit memberikan penghargaan kepada pengguna berupa voting melalui konten yang kita posting. Dengan Steemit kita bisa berinteraksi melalui konten berupa teks, gambar dan video. Di platform Steemit konten kita dihargai berupa reward moneter/uang yang dikenal dengan STEEM (mata uang digital).

Brother Ramuli also asked why in Steemit we can get paid through the content that we post? I replied that Steemit is a social media that works on blockchain technology, just like Bitcoin and Ethereum. We can get rewards from a post if the content we post is considered attractive and given upvote by other users who already have an account at Steemit.

Saudara Ramuli juga bertanya kenapa di Steemit kita bisa dibayar melalui konten yang kita posting? Saya menjawab bahwa Steemit adalah media sosial yang bekerja di atas teknologi blockchain, sama seperti Bitcoin dan Ethereum. Kita bisa mendapatkan reward dari sebuah postingan apabila konten yang kita posting dinilai menarik dan diberi upvote oleh pengguna lain yang sudah memiliki akun di Steemit.

Furthermore I explain if you have opened a Steemit account start by introducing or known by introduceyourself, then publish the content you write as interesting as possible and must be original, not plagiarism to get upvote from other Steemit users.

Lebih lanjut saya menjelaskan jika sudah membuka akun Steemit mulailah dengan melakukan perkenalan atau yang dikenal dengan introduceyourself, kemudian publikasikan konten yang anda tulis semenarik mungkin dan harus asli, bukan plagiat agar mendapat upvote dari pengguna Steemit lainnya.

So can I say, hopefully rural people can understand it and willing to join the platform Steemit.
