Blockchain, for most of us, the Indonesian, considered as anything related to cryptocurrency, crypto trading, and sounds too hard to understand. While in other countries, this blockchain technology has been adopted and implemented in business sectors, government and daily life, not only as the cryptocurrency and trading matters.
That is why @aspekti -DKI Jakarta, The Association of Indonesian Telematics Companies and Consultants thought that it is very important to educate people, the businessmen, government officers and its high-level actors, private sectors, and other stakeholders to know more about blockchain technology, as this technology will play an important role in the development of future Indonesia. It will be an alternative solution for a better future world.
To follow up this initiative; the importance of providing education about blockchain technology, Aspekti sees the need to establish an institution to organize the said education above. Therefore, in collaboration with the Oracle-D, a British company based on Blockchain systems, they hold an important event yesterday, 1 November 2018, taken place at the Pagaruyung ballroom, Hotel Balairung, Matraman, Jakarta Pusat.
The subject "Application of Blockchain Technology to Improve the Quality of Indonesian Universities and Economies" was chosen as the theme of the seminar and participants from various sectors, such as government, blockchain practitioners, blockchain enthusiasts, business, and people who're interested in this knowledge were attended the seminar.

To deliver the knowledge about the blockchain technology, Aspekti invited the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia, to be the keynote speaker, Professor Laode M. Kamaluddin, Master of Science, Master of Engineering, the chairman of Aspekti as the moderator, Mariska Lubis, a blockchain empowerment activist, Matt Starkey, the CEO of Oracle-D, and Dylan Leighton, the CTO of Oracle-D, invited to be the speakers (resource persons) in the dialogue interactive hold during the seminar.

The interactive discussion was run perfectly and raised enthusiastic and curiosity to know more about this technology and its application in economic and human life from the participants.
The Signed of MoU Between Aspekti and Oracle-D
As the education of blockchain technology is very important in order to improve the knowledge of Indonesian people, Aspekti and Oracle-D have agreed to work together to provide educations for various sectors such as businesses, campus, and everyone else who has interest in this technology.
The MoU signed by both party, where Prof. Laode M. Kamaluddin, M.Sc, M. Eng, the chairman of Aspekti and Matt Starkey, CEng IMechE, CEO of Oracle-D in front of the audience of the seminar.

As Blockchain technology will be an alternative solution for a better world in the future, the collaboration between Aspekti and Oracle-D becomes a MILESTONE for Indonesia, in providing the education regarding the blockchain technology and its implementation towards a better economic and life.
Moreover, by the support from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia, I believe that this learning activity will provide a well-educated people who are equipped with a good understanding of blockchain technology as the output.
