What is normal, a good question in the sense that we can say that the normal is, what should be done.

Right?

Paul-Michel Foucault was a French philosopher, sociologist, historian and psychologist, who asked himself several questions regarding what was normal and what could be considered abnormal within a society.

We can pose from the behavior of a society to what is considered as our own but as a society, as a citizen of a country, what is normal in the society of my country, I have realized that it is not in other countries.

What I consider and can say is normal today was not necessarily so 10 years ago, and I am sure it will not be so in one or two years.

Now I understand that Michel Foucault was a homosexual and also at the time when he was living homosexuality was considered abnormal.
That was something abnormal. At that time, in several countries in the world today, being homosexual is totally normal. I don't want to generate any controversy, I'm just using an example to get to the point that society is the one that creates what is normal and what is not normal.

This posture of how normality as socially constructed and as itself and those who create socially accepted patterns of behavior, but how that can affect us all or how it affects us individually to see that this position of society to a behavior different from what is established as normal.

So I argue that in some way and as far as I can understand these patterns are strictly temporary due to the very advance of society in accepting and modifying the criteria of what is normal and what is not normal.

The same can happen at a business level, according to the owners or shareholders, they can establish what is normal for that company and what is not normal, at the level of any type of business or enterprise, and even in your personal life.

But in what way can you differentiate what is normal and what is not normal in your personal life, good question and in turn I give myself that answer and define it when you can differentiate between good and evil, a little paradoxical right?

Most times what our parents make us believe as being normal is what we consider as being normal, I always tell people not to disregard other people's believe since most of us are simply a reflection of the things we have been made to believe.

Normalcy is a perfect description of how the society describes it, nothing is normal or abnormal except the society makes it so, I believe in your argument.

@lanzjoseg In society, the normal are mere labels to establish mechanisms of healthy coexistence, but that does not imply that in certain moments of extreme pressure, the rule is broken and one acts out of common sense.
