I recently started to learn Javascript with the ultimate goal to code some functional and awesome looking web applications on day.

Since the best way to learn and remember is actually by doing something you like, I was thinking of a project that is WAY above my head and would force me to look in various directions in order to complete.

Today I finally found a project I think will motivate me to keep learning. I like to share y idea with you so you can tell me what you think about it.

The idea is to code and design a Memory like tile game (I like to call it Steematch) that will take randomly profile images of steemit users and the player has to find the matching pairs.

Initial layout, I expect to change it once I make more progress

So basically I am thinking about the following workflow.

1. Player enter her/his name
2. The Application will pull randomly 10 profile images of steemit users and place it in pairs across the tiles.
3. The player press start to start the game.
4. The time and total attempts will be logged
5. The player scores will be saved in a highscore for other players to beat.

Further considerations.

• I actually would like to show some user details of the randomly picked users so players get to know users.
• If a player stays unbeaten for a certain amount of days, he she would be rewarded with a small amount of steem / steem power.
  
  

This is my goal, given that I just started with programming and have no clue at all about how to get data from the blockchain, this project can take many month to complete.
