Top 10 programming languages to learn in 2017
Coding or programming has risen as one the most lucrative career options of 2016 and will continue to do so in 2017. As the tech landscape continues to grow especially with the oncoming deluge of Internet of Things, the need for programmers and other affiliated coding skills will continue to rise. However, pursuing the right programming language can be a big challenge given the fact that there are close to 300 different programming languages one can learn. It’s no secret that coding skills are highly sought after and often very well remunerated in the I.T industry. But it’s not possible for one to learn every language, and some skills are more valuable than others.

"Top programming language" but for what ?
It should have many different lists for many different contexts :
No ?
Some folks are attacking this list of the most valuable programming languages to learn without any real knowledge of the subject and perhaps without sufficient reading comprehension to understand what the Author is talking about.
There are several lists out there on the net purporting to show which languages are the most popular. They are mostly based upon the statistical count of job offers available for these languages.
The list here accurately portrays this popularity of languages in the business world.
Go to the leading job sites and search for jobs on 'GO', Solidity or Rust.
Then do a search on Java, C#, C++ and yes even Assembler.
After doing so, you will be able to see the correlation between this list and the available jobs.
This not about your opinions on the supposed quality of your chosen language but about the most lucrative languages in the business world.
A fucking terrible list you have there. ROFL. Solidity and GoLang should be on top of the list. And you don't even have them there. Base your opinions, please. You can't even learn assembly/PERL any longer anywhere except MIT perhaps.
Ha ha, I agree with @inity : a modern list of top programming languages with Assembly Language, VB, PERL (and to some extent C and PHP) - on a website powered by Blockchain - but no mention of
I don't think that this is a very good, relevant list.
