Couldn't agree with you more. I have been a curious developer since my high school. I tried to recreate the first stage of Dave game using BASIC programming language and was successful enough to take it to a stage where people could play and complete the first level. I am also interested in language especially english and kannada.
I know so many developers who can code away in their silhos but wouldn't dare to speak to people explain even the basic of what they are are doing. I also know writers who can connect with people through their writing but get scared of anything that is remotely related to technology.
So I feel you when you say that there is a huge need for people who can act as "Glue" between these two categories. Since I am comfortable in both I see the opportunities that you mention in your post. I am just getting started with Steemit and will be more active going forward. I hope I can add value to both the categories you are mentioning.
