Oh I so feel this. I'm so glad gmail gives me tons of space, because the last time my inbox was organized was... maybe a decade ago? I could spend a day unsubscribing from lists. Mostly I just ignore them.
I try to unsubscribe as soon as I can if I don't think they are going to be something I want to get regularly .. I've noticed over time it gets hard to sort the spammers from the actual lists. Although gmail does a pretty decent job of doing that.
