Who Your True Friends Are? Whether Are They True Or Not?

There is a famous proverb "A friend in need is a friend indeed."

I identified my true friends in the hour of need. I had been in the hospital for 2 weeks. I used to feel proud of my relationships with people.

Q:- How many showed up? How many literally called me to help?

Ans:- A Few

Q:- How many just said, " Get well soon" and never talk about it again?

Ans:- Many of them didn't bother to talk about it. I might have asked for the financial help because I was broken at that moment.

Don't you feel it heart breaking?

And guess what, It changed my perception about friendship. No matter how important a friend is to you if he/she doesn't have sympathy for you, he doesn't deserve your time.

Suppose I am about to die today, I would be thinking why the hell I was with the people who didn't show up when I need them. It's like you have shared the most precious time of your life with the people who were no more than an asshole.

It's your turn to identify the true relationships. No matter you talk or not. If you find a person who is genuine and he/she cares about the people around, tell him he/she is a treasure. These people are the most trustworthy friends. Remember, you can purchase friends to kill your time but real relationships always transform your personality into the best version of yourself. You can literally purchase people but those who stay with you in the hour of need, are the people you should spend your time with.

Genuine relationships are the strong pillar of life, Start cultivating them.
