Steemit Problem According to My Version

Hi all steem people,,
When firstly I heard about steemit,,I think it was like another media social such as facebook, or instagram.
Where I post a pic then my friends will like and give their comment.

But,,as far I know that in steemit we not only looking for friends, but also it can give us some benefit. We will get reward for anything we do.

So that, I think it will be good if We have many friends here. So we can support each other, we can upvote and comment our friends' post.
But so poor, as far as I see, here at steemit was so different with my last social media. In here even we have some friends (followers) but it is not guaranteed that we will get some upvotes or some comments for our post.
I don't know why..
Sometimes I think,,maybe because the upvote and comment here have value, so that's why it's so hard for them to do that.
Eventhough, it will so nice if we can work together, we can help each other as friends.
Therefore, beside we become closer (with our friends/followers) we are also mutually beneficial.
I think that is great.
