I do think we need to force these companies to be more proactive. However, I wonder how much this regulation will impact the small business.

_"Specifically, CCPA applies to companies that have at least $25 million in revenue and make half their money selling data or gathers information on at least 50,000 consumers."
So this is clearly not a thing for smb's.
