RE: 3D Printing: The Most Common Issues in 3D Printing and How To Fix Them

in #printing3d8 years ago (edited)

Another great follow up, thanks for the insights. Now I know that this home 3D printing is not yet appropriate for me to get into. Because I'm far to impatient. Much respect for those who actually manage to get something 3D printed.

Well, usually investing in a more expensive and complex 3D printer does save you some trouble, but that is not always the case and there is no guarantee that more expensive in the world of consumer 3D printers will result in better and more problem free experience using it.

Then it also depends on how deep you want to get into things as going for a DIY solution that you assemble yourself is an interesting challenge and can be quite fun for people that are into that kind of stuff.

Yes, I can imagine that it is great to make one yourself.

It is not that expensive either, especially if you already have a friend to help by 3D printing some of the parts - you can purchase only the electronic and mechanical parts that you cannot 3D print.

Might actually do a part of the series about that at some point, should be fun to build another 3D printer and explain the process for everyone that might be interested in knowing what to expect from a DIY 3D printer.

Would be cool, I'd like to read it.

Ok, added to the list of topics for some of the next parts.

Though I want to first cover the more basic and important stuff.
