3d Printing - more paint
Three of the 3d printed (miniature) statues. With a simple grey tone they look much much better.
Also shown are some TAU objectives
I am still not 100% happy with the lines the printed object have, but will look at settings in the print program so this might be avoided.
Paint techniques such as washes are a bit difficult to use because of the lines in the model.

Lines are pretty much unavoidable but you can use more detailed layer heights, plus extra base primer layers, otherwise it is down to sanding or bondo etc :)
Also i used airbrush as primer. Perhaps a bad idea actually ...rathet use aircan primer...
Thanks. Going to play a bit more with settings ... but resin printer is looking tempting ...
Yeah only problems with resin are more expensive prints (though these models are small) and the toxic goop :)

Yeah, he had an interesting article and some nice profiles for cura that I am currently trying now.
