Thank you for this initiative, we need to build up a 3D Designer, 3D Printing community here. I do agree with you, thingiverse is terrible on many aspects. I wonder if Steemit plans to setup a kind of forum soon, I think it is a missing feature to reach out your audience.
Im happy to help and hope my efforts can help other makers to get more appreciation for there work and effort and for sharing there things and ideas for free.
A shared community with mixed interest such as Steemit would be so much more helpful and the future possibilities seems to be endless.
A Forum could help and when thinking about it longer, it really could be a nice addition to Steemit.
And also a Tag for 3d printing related posts: "3dprinting"
(i currently use "print3d" and "printing" for my posts on Steemit because tags can't start with a number at this moment)
