Steem and Gridcoin
Steem hit six dollars last night?
There's a couple of ways for me to look at this; the First being I could listen to the people that are posting the price is going to the moon (a term I just learned recently). I have never seen the chart names and things they're using to predict the price going up before... but they look pretty.
The second way to look at it is the same way I look at Telus Stock... I'm using telus as an example because it's a company I've invested in before. It also has times where it dipped big but also where it shot up over night ten bucks a share.
For no reason really.
Which the same for steem. It could be temporary... but you know what? I'm going to enjoy it while it's still happening.
As for Gridcoin.
It's sitting at .17 cents Canadian.
I'm not sure what that is in American right now but I'm thinking about .12 cents maybe?
That's the one I'm hoping goes up.
A few weeks ago I went looking for a an ATM for Bitcoin in Chilliwack and the new place it was at is owned by a man who's big into Bitcoin... as well as builds and repairs computers.
He now mines eutherium and tried to convince me to go that way while I explained Gridcoin to him. When I left he was going to look into it but it was not as viable as what he was working on.
Ergo. Gridcoin needs to go up for him.
Gridcoin has been undervalued for a very long time relative to Golem and other top coins. I think with the rebranding campaign and novel efforts by many of us to get the word out, we will see some phenomenal increases over the next year.

Hello, i would like to point out that a practical, widespread and usable crypto currency needs to fulfill 3 criteria:
1.) Low transaction cost - e.g. to buy a pizza without large addition costs
2.) Stable curency - e.g. if you sell the pizza you want to be sure that the currency is stable for the next days.
3.) Fast transaction - both people in the pizza place do not want to wait log to perform the exchange (pizza vs. currency)
I think Bitcoin does not fulfill most of the criteria today. However, we gridcoiners should not hope for an infinite rise.
