PressOne is a new content distribution system base on strong foundation that has smart contracts. The platform will be based on the basic framework of EOS. The application is currently under development and will take time before it will open for implementation. Upon its implementation, the system will be split into two layers called the operating system and the applications.
The operating system will be the base layer and elements such as transparent, open and irrevocable accounts, decentralized storage, and the structure for smart contracts will be place. On the other hand, those that will be responsible for the logic of the platform will be on top of the layer applications. The development of these two layers will strongly be treated with the same pace, which means that the development of the base layer will stay in line with the EOS roadmap.
PressOne Features & Mechanisms:
Real-name registration
A real name is required in the registration on the platform. Although nicknames can still be accepted but on its core system, a real name should be registered. This is important in the culture and safety of the system because every user's activity goes along with a transaction that are guaranteed by smart contracts. Only real user names then will be given the rights to submit, comment and share a content.
In the centralized publishing and distribution models, account are not keep in public which makes the cost of cheating to none. Implementing a fake identity will result to an inaccurate data which in turn produce fake results.
Content filtering mechanism
The effective method of content filtering is the registration of real names. If steemit believes on the freedom of speech, this platform has the opposite. Unlimited freedom of speech is dangerous and harmful to the general public.
Irrevocability
The system also believe that there are data that needs to be irrevocable and at the same time a non-irrevocable. One of the data that should be irrevocable is the factor that will determine copyrights.

Anti-spam Mechanism
The system still promotes originality and still will combat piracy and plagiarism. It will implement the principle "forcing all content to transact". This will track all the activity of content including its statistics so that the system will be keep aware of its movement. The real-name registration in this system will be more effective because nobody would wanted to lose credibility and will greatly reduce crime.
Content in the system will be in two forms, a paid content and paying content. A paying content is something like I have a content but you need to pay first before you can see it. A paid content will be in a form of novels, music, movies and tv shows. Free content does not exist in the system, all contents will be paid but with a very minimal cost which is close to zero. An effective method in eliminating spam.
Currency recovery Mechanism
Currency circulation is vital in the economy of the system and currency recovery mechanism will stimulate this circulation. This currency will handle the transactions of the system between the users. This currency recovery is accumulated from the within the system as a sort of distributed benefits.
Transactions between applications
Most users in every platform, always hold different kind of tokens and the system will offer this features by utilizing the advantage of using smart contracts which makes conversion done seamlessly.
Rewards
Every time a user shared a content, they are exercising their ability to distribute and this distribution will be rewarded by the system base on the results of the distribution. Aside from the shares received from paying readers, another shares will be receive by the authors as a reward of their distribution ability. The reward system will increase the production of good quality contents since the quality authors will be rewarded accordingly.
Writers will just need to make sure that they will be producing contents that the general public needed and their skills will be greatly recognized.

Yes, it is. PressOne automatically rewards content creators automatically upon its submission but still will be base on the result of the distribution. So the author will not worry about not getting reward because the system will be give it .

If it rewards content that is published immediately on publishing then it is going to be a notch above others. I hope that is how it works.

It could because authors dont have to worry about getting votes because the system will give them rewards. I guess it through to what they say "currency recovery mechanism" I presume.
Eos has some similarity with steemit. However, I don't think it can compete with steemit. Steemit is democratic while pressone isn't. Let's wait and see

Eos comes with governance built in.
