HealthCare Reform and My Community!

So here is my question for the presidential candidates Hillary Clinton Donald J. Trump. When it comes to the healthcare reform, as of right now, only a select few states offer medical coverage for the trans community. Whether it be from Hormone Replacement Therapy,Gender Reassignment Surgery, or the psychological evaluation that is required by 95% of all physicians licensed. .Would you include in your reform a policy that extends these procedures to the trans community just as these typical procedures would be extended to the general population?

When it comes to healthcare in our country transgender people are not able to receive some if not all of these benefits. The transgender population is approximately 1.8% of our countries population. With the recent issues that we have seen from the United States Government or with individual states, it is getting harder and harder for trans people to receive the treatment that is medically necessary for them to remain sane. 41% of the Trans community has either committed or attempted to commit suicide. Usually due to the lack of medical care available or the stigma that comes with the territory. America is supposed to be one of, if not the greatest country in the world, but yet we as a people struggle day to day to keep face and live our life to it's fullest potential. Being a trans woman myself I have been thru some tough times pre-transition and during my transition to becoming the woman I am meant to be. The Transgender Population is real and we deserve the same rights and healthcare as the rest of the population.
