On 18 July, Draupadi Murmu become the 15th president and 2 women president of India. Also become firsh Tribal President. Two nominee comes for election . Draupadhi mummi from bjp and Yashwant sinha from AICT. Total electoral vote are 1,056,920. Yashwanr got 380,177 and Draupadhi murmu got 676,803.

Election of Indian President is indirectly system. In this election common people do not vote According to Article 58 of the Indian constitution there are 3 conditions of those person who ant to become a president. 1st Become of Indian citizen 2nd Completed the age of 35 year 3rd Qualified for election as a member of the House of the people. A question come that who can vote and the answer is electoral college means the menbers of lok sabha and the Rajya Sadha. 776 MPs and 4033 MLAs. In this type of election the system of one person, one vote doesn't work because those person who makers of our constitution wanted to balance of equity between state and union government. And also uniformity of Represention of the different states. How to find value of the vote of MLA is total population of the state divided by number of MLAs. Then the come is divided by 1000.
