I have to try really hard not to cringe when I hear that something's being called a "Google Killer" XD

Telling people to use any other search engine (and "awarding" them to do so) would be equivalent to eg. inventing a "Coffee Killer" and asking people to drink it instead of coffee. You would even get free bags of "Coffee Killer" to test it, and eg. tokens/discounts for other products each time you consume "Coffee Killer".

I don't know about the rest of the world, but I'm certain that I would still head to my favorite coffee shop, and pay insert a number here dollars for my favorite cup of coffee :)

In my opinion, the only thing that could ever kill Google is Google itself, otherwise, it's here to stay forever with us.
