Great article! I like the presentation, well done. We have two, actually written out, evacuation plans. One for starting out by car and one for starting out by foot/bike. What we grab and how we throw things together depends on the use of the car. The plans make sure we are efficient and don't forget anything important and stop us from bringing nonessentials. I'm a protocol and list gal!

It's nice to hear someone who has their things in order and has thought about such events. Even if disaster doesn't happen, you will no doubt be comfortable in the fact that you have contingencies.
