    Thats a great looking little knife youve made... Nice one!
    Looks like the edge isn't uniformally sharp, different parts of the blade appear to be slightly duller than others....
    Blade looks nice n thick too... Its always good to make your own stuff...
    With a scandi-type grind it will e easier to sharpen....

    Hello PVUK,
    many thanks for the nice comments. I've tempered the knife (Sunday, in mums oven while doing the roast) and had another go with the £1 cheapo grinding stone. Sharpness seems more even now :)

    I'll be doing an update soon.

    I watch Joe Robinet a lot and he likes the Scandi-grind :)
