DROP ZONE WATCH: Liverpool To Show Stoke No Mercy

Liverpool would be looking to slow down not according to manager Jurgen Klopp when the Reds host Stoke City to whom they have never lost a home Premier League match.

Although Liverpool have one foot in the final of the Champions League, their top four spot is not safe yet as they are 8 points above fourth placed Tottenham who have a game in hand over them.

Stoke Manager, Paul Lambert who is yet to lose on any of his trips to Anfield as a manager, winning three and drawing two, sure would be fancying their chances as they look to book a survival ticket.

The Potters are just four points above the drop zone with three matches to spare and would also be hoping results go their way in other fixtures.

One thing that may work for and against the hosts and visitors is that Liverpool are one of the top teams to always score first in the Premier League this season while Stoke have been the worst team in conceding first this season.

Only Man City have always scored first in the Premier League more than Liverpool.

With Mohammed Salah looking to break more records, he may be eyeing to score more and with Klopp not ready to rotate too much, they might just go all out. Their only major miss would be Alex Oxlade Chamberlain who would be racing against fitness for the World Cup after being subtituesubstituted against Roma.

My PREDICTION

Remembering that they squandered a good chance last weekend against West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool would be looking to avoid same mistakes and Paul Lambert also looking to continue his fine records at Anfield, it looks a good encounter for lunch time on Saturday.

Liverpool to fire past Stoke.
