Recent Maternity Henna Sessions

Maternity Henna! My absolute favorite!! I love to adorn expecting mamas with beautiful henna designs. I love sitting and spending this intimate time with new mamas and I also love having such a big round canvas to work on! They have their challenges (baby kicks and me doing gymnastics to reach around the belly) but I treasure my Maternity Henna appointments. I apply all my designs freehand and make them up on the spot. I only use natural Henna and I mix the paste myself. Original and from the heart.

Being so new to Steemit I just wanted to share a couple of recent bellies with you. I have a few appointments coming up so I will have some more to share soon. I have plenty of belly photos in my archives so can post more as I familiarize myself with this platform.

Most of the Henna photos I post are of the fresh Henna paste as it is more striking in a photo. But here you can see the mature Henna stain on my friend’s skin. Natural Henna takes 48hrs to stain the skin and I took this photo about 3 days after I applied the paste.

I will leave you with this fun mandala I did on my friend’s belly in December. This was her fifth full term bubba and I have been privileged to have henna’d her belly many times over the past few years!! Cheers to all my friends who let me draw my designs on them!!!
