RE: The forgotten simplicity of birth from the perspective of a man who likes to get involved

in #pregnancy6 years ago

What a detailed story @samstonehill!
We're still young and not thinking of kids at the moment, but definitely in the future. Sam can imagine going through some of his own stress and fears, whereas Becca is excited at the prospect. He wouldn't know how to help more than just the simple things, although he would like to do more. We guess it will all come together once we go through the whole process.
Opting for a natural birth too, though lots of the time in Thailand they encourage a cesarean birth as it's easy. We doubt we would be living here when the time comes.
Thanks for sharing your experiences again Sam. It was wonderful to read and we hope all is well in the south of France - enjoy your weekend :)

Sort:

They encourage cesareans a lot here in France too. Many of the women in our pre-natal group had already signed up for one out of fear alone. Madness.

You guys will do great I am sure. The body knows best and one only has to train the mind to listen. A little bit of silence goes a long way!

All the best to you on your journey :)

Thank you for your tips and hopefully we will remember it down the line (a few more years). :)
