Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods

This book starts off with a rough overview with a sarcastic touch of the son of Poseidon (Percy Jackson). This book is basically the Greek Mythology but with a twist, which is that the point of view is from a teenage demi-god and it sums it up, rather hysterically. The book starts off by Percy explaining the big bang but what happened according to the Greek mythology.

My favourite part in the book is when he is talking about Zeus and how he's a womanizer but he's more of a person who'll stalk you and corner you, and then forcefully make you his girlfriend. Not exactly the best way to get to know each other first. What makes it extremely funny is that Percy's excellent sense of humor (or Rick Riordan). It talks about the beginning of Greek Mythology and sums the message up for kids or dummies.

It talks about gods like Ares, Aphrodite, Hermes, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus himself. These are only few of the gods I was able to list. This book has great humor and sarcasm, it makes an excellent book considering its story. This book deserves a read or two.
