Underestimation limits your glory
Underestimation Limits your glory!
In an organisation, from junior to senior level everybody is important. May be some play a major role and some minor. However small, but it does serve a purpose.
Once a man had two pots - one had a crack in it. Everyday, he filled both pots with water and carried them to his master's house. The pot with the crack felt bad that it could not carry full water and was not serving any purpose.
Pot: I want to apologise to you.
Man: Apologise? Why?
Pot: I am able to deliver only half water because of the crack. And you have to make extra efforts.
Man: As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the flowers along the path.
One side of the path was covered with beautiful flowers.
Man: Did you notice the flowers on your side? I knew about your flaw. So, I had planted flower seeds on your side of path. And everyday when we walked back from the stream, you have watered them. So, I have been able to decorate master's house with these flowers.
If you are feeling like the crack pot - unworthy or insignificant, just look around. There may be something where you may be contributing and you are not aware of. May be without you, that task may remain unaccomplished.
Never underestimate yourself, realise your worth.
