No easy way, make it count....

NO EASY WAY OUT

But that's what we're always looking for. Short Cuts. Avoidance. Doing Nothing, hoping everything will sort itself out. Choosing easier alternatives so that we can escape discomfort...

Not going to get us anywhere. The path to our goals and dream lives is past the rocky face that we must climb. If we want to become stronger, wiser, tougher, then we must forge ourselves in the fire.

The more we run, the weaker we're making ourselves and the farther away we move from our goals.

And you know what, we're much tougher than we give ourselves credit for, capable of way more. So cut the holding back, let's just live the life we're meant to.

MAKE IT COUNT

This moment will never come again. Today will never come again. Whatever it is that we do - be it a workout, a chat with somebody, something we cook, something we write, even something as humdrum as ironing a shirt or drinking a cup of tea- this is our one and only shot at this activity, in this specific moment.

So let's make it the best. Let's not do it in a half-hearted, chalta hai fashion. Let's be fully present, let's immerse ourselves in it, let's give it all we've got and enjoy it fully.

When we make every thing we do mindful and special, we make our days and our life extraordinary.

EVERY STEP COUNTS

When the peak is in sight or we can see the finishing post of a race, it's easy to jump into top gear, push ourselves to the end. The hard part is when the goal seems far away, out of sight. There's no sign of the rewards of the glory. And the challenges in front of us are the everyday ones, totally devoid of any excitement or ego kick.

To get to the top of the mountain, one has to struggle through the rigorous middle portion. So is it with every other goal. Every task we have on our list today is important, just like every step in a race is crucial.

Let's get our focus back. Let our drive be about doing every task brilliantly. Let our joy come from the journey, the doing. Let's take the humdrum and make it a grand adventure.
