I DEFINE THE DAY

We let the events of the day define if it's going to be a happy one or a pain. Which means we let our work, people's expectations, judgments - things outside us define our happiness, define who we are.

Which is bullshit. We are not our work. We are not what people think of us. We are not our professional or personal successes or failures.

We are independent, thinking beings with the power of choice. And our choices define the day. We choose to be happy or not.

Let's exercise these choices. Let's decide our day. What has to happen will happen. Let these be just that - things that happen, things we do. We go through them but give them no control over us. And we enjoy every moment of the day, celebrate it with excitement and passion. Cause we choose to. Cause we can. Have an awesome day.
