Words are an adventure. I was in Penang in Malaysia a few years ago and staying in a hostel and in the back room was a huge English dictionary that I could hardly lift, it was very old, and had over a million words in it, that's a lot of words, and to think that they all come from just 26 letters of the alphabet. All the books ever written, in the west anyway have come from the 26 word alphabet...
Yes! It really is awe inspiring, just the same that all our great paintings stemmed from three primary colours. We really can be a fascinating species if we let ourselves do it.
