DAY - 34 - FOOD - THROWBACK SERIES - With love, from the chronicles of an African baby and his dog.

Some homemade creations to tantilise the tongue and also more importantly for my aesthetic eye, it is pleasing to look at, love the colours and vibrant contrasts, these are the things that interest me most. Keeping busy when I am not working by trying out some delightful eat treats. With this time we also need to make sure we do not over do it on unusual treats, and try to stay active and healthy.

At the same time be fully aware that there are those who are not as fortunate and do not have access to the things we may take for granted. Making sure we assist in whatever way possible to help those less fortunate. By donations or if you employ people make sure to continue to pay their salaries for as long as possible to make sure their families are taken care of.

We are now in Day 34 of our lockdown and as everybody probably experiences ups and downs and slowly getting used to the idea of being inside and perfecting the art of self-entertainment and occupying our time with the things we always wanted to do, but never had the time to.

As I said before I do think we will emerge from this with a lot of people changing their vocation, after realising where their true passions lay.

During this time I have spoken to many of my professional friends, family and clients who have suddenly found joy in cooking, gardening/farming, carpentry and some of the original work that built nations and communities from the ground up.

So with that in mind, we may end up with less white collar professionals and lots more blue collar workers, who love what they do.

Anyway, Happy humpday everybody, ironically the weeks seem to be flying by. Find the beauty around you.
