DAY - 31 - SOME OF MY FAV SHOTS - THROWBACK SUNDAY - With love, from the chronicles of an African baby and his dog.

We have now reached Day Marker 31. It has been extremely rainy and misty all day today, which makes for a great lazy Sunday, all day lazing about.

Had some "Koeksusters" which is pretty much a homemade South African version of Doughnuts this morning with some coffee, this is pretty much a staple Sunday morning treat in South Africa, for most families. Usually wake up to a fresh pot of coffee, Koeksusters, and the Sunday newspaper.

Then made some lunch and been lazing about for the better part of the day, catching up on some work now, and preparing for the new week ahead.

For some strange reason even though in lockdown and I am busy, not busy, the weeks just seem to be flying by. Seems we wake up on a Monday and when you blink it is Friday again. Fortunately with the work I do, not much has changed in way of how I operate my business, which is nearly 90% online, so I am fairly used to this setup. My thoughts go out to those who need to be out there to continue working, and I can only imagine how daunting all this must be for them.

Also, another thought crossed my mind with regards to those who thrive and indeed need the interaction of people constantly, and on the other hand it must be a huge relief and even a blessing for those of us who are somewhat introverted, in which case this must be heaven.

I saw a meme the other day, which I found hilarious, which read:

"To all the introverts out there, remember to check in on all your extrovert friends, as they need your support at this time."

These are some Sunday throwback photos from days spent outside. These are some of what I consider my more intriguing photos taken not too long ago of our beautiful world outside. Again, cannot wait to step out into the world once we get over this, I do however believe that it will be a world slightly altered and can't help think it may be a slightly better one. Considering the free reign nature has has had over the past few weeks/months we may have inadvertently healed the world to a tiny degree, the cost however is not a pleasant one. My prayers to those families who have been directly affected by it.

Check these and let me know which are your favourites and why? comments welcome.

Stay safe everyone, and all the best for the week ahead, remember to always try to find the beauty around you.

Swallows seem to have some difficulty leaving this year, maybe they are on lockdown too?
