Yes it is school holidays and so, moms need to keep kids having fun.
I had the pleasure of watching my grand daughter and friend make some scones.
It was great fun for them both as they insisted on doing everything together - the bowl was a bit on the small side for both pairs of hands but they managed without too much mess!
Hair was tied back and hands washed and then the fun started.
The girls were creative when it came to the shape of the scones.
The finished scones which were then served with strawberry jam and cream - delicious!
How wonderful!! I think it is great to be able to have fun with your grandchildren and when there is a lesson in there. Sometimes we don't even realize that the lessons are small, like working together, or learning how be sanitary around food or even keeping family relations close.
It sounds like a fun day!!!

Yes indeed - we forget how much fun can be had out of the simple things in life - and lessons taught.

Gosh, I remember helping out during holidays too, and it was always fun to make dough ! These scones look really tasty and they are also very pretty ! I wish I can reach into the monitor and grab one :D
Yes, I think that kiddies love to bake.
I have a lovely recipe which my late aunt used to make and have used it for all of my kids - it is called a scone cake, so will do a post and share for you.
