Holding thumbs

Well, in a previous post about "my garlic mistake", I showed the garlic that had been pulled up too early.

I then left them for a couple of days to dry out in the sun and today I washed them, trimmed the roots and they are now hanging up to dry some more - then in time I shall taste them - regardless that they are rather small!

I shall not make this mistake again and next time I shall plant a great deal more.

On the up side, this morning I discovered the first of my heirloom chillies that was hidden beneath the leaves - with more on the way - they love the heat, so the lack of attention to watering while I was away has not hindered their growth.
