Thanks to Powerhousecreatives community for bringing people from all over the world together. In this week's contest, we're going to share about the “World At Their Feet”. This is indeed a creative and imaginative way to see the world from a different perspective, Our Feet!

Seriously, is the world really at our feet, isn't it more of a presumption and just wishful thinking. We stand up everyday and sometimes, we loose our balance along the way. Not everything is a solid ground as we would like it to be; we're constantly thrown off the cliff with obstacles. Some which we're prepared for while others catch us with extreme surprise.

Our feet in any situation have to learn to survive and support our entire weight no matter how and when. Even when we're submerged under duress, it strives to float and find a quick fix no matter how strong the tidal wave is. Eventually, it will be able to find a calmer path for us, one that is suitable and long lasting.

I chose to shoot these photos of my feet in the swimming and jacuzzi pool at my apartment building. It somehow explains the thunders and lighting that our feet go through each and every day. Somedays, it endures the dry and solid ground; which is very often but when the weather changes, it has to face the most dangerous paths - wet, pot holes, rocks and etc.

With the world at my two feet, it is important to treat them well. Apart from my frequent visit to the Nail Spa every three weeks, I do think that having them enjoy some pampering time in the swimming and jacuzzi pool would be much appreciated. After all, the pressure pumps causes the water to move drastically and this feels like massage movements for the feet and ankles.

After a good 30 - 45 mins of massage, it was time to dry my feet up and let it relax under the shed while we overlook the swimming pool in front of us. Since the swimming pool is at the rooftop, we could also enjoy the view of the city; in a few hours time the sun would start to set. Time to head back home and continue to chill out before another long and tiring week ahead.

If only this was an everyday experience; now that would be wishful thinking.. I know that.
